Frequently Asked Questions
-
What is your pricing?
Coverage begins at $7,000. Most couples invest between $9,000–$15,000, depending on the scale of the celebration or additional weekend events. Custom proposals are also available, tailored to reflect the unique details of your wedding — including destination and multi-day celebrations. A full pricing guide is available upon request.
-
How would you describe your style?
“Fine Art Photojournalism” is the best label for my work. I favor natural lighting and compositions that are organic rather than overly posed. Photojournalism is about being unobtrusive and allowing clients to remain present in their intimate moments. As a wedding photographer, I specialize in striking the perfect balance between being unobtrusive and offering thoughtful guidance. I’ll capture those spontaneous, candid moments as they happen, while also providing clear direction for portraits to make sure you look and feel your best. My approach ensures that you’re able to fully enjoy your day, knowing that I’m there to document every beautiful detail—without ever being in the way.
-
What couples do you enjoy photographing most?
I love working with couples with a taste for fashion and who put intentionality into floral arrangements, ambient venue lighting, etc… Ultimately, I most enjoy couples who put their foremost energies and attention into celebrating being together.
-
Would you recommend an engagement session?
Without hesitation. It’s a relaxed, intentional way to connect before the wedding and to create timeless portraits in a more intimate setting. Most couples say it was one of the best decisions they made. If an engagement session isn’t the right fit, welcome party coverage is a wonderful alternative — a natural way to meet and ease into the rhythm of the weekend.
-
How long have you been photographing weddings? Do you photograph anything other than weddings?
I have been photographing weddings since 2012. I limit my bookings to around 15 weddings each year.
Yes — while weddings are my main focus, I also photograph a limited number of lifestyle sessions throughout the year, including boudoir, family, and senior portraits. These sessions are approached with the same candid, story-driven eye, and often take place in meaningful locations or beautifully lit spaces. If this sounds like what you’ve been looking for, I’d be honored to photograph it.
-
Do you schedule a time in the day for family portraits?
Absolutely. Family portraits are carefully planned. To keep things efficient and focused, I limit the list to 15 groupings or fewer. This allows us to capture what matters most without taking too much time away from the celebration. For any other group shots, I’m always available throughout the reception to capture those moments as they happen naturally.
-
Can you photoshop my body in any way?
I don’t offer body modifications such as altering weight, wrinkles, or makeup in post-processing. My work is grounded in honest, refined storytelling—and that means honoring you as you are. I’ll always aim to photograph you in the most flattering light and through a thoughtful, editorial lens.
I provide each couple with a wedding insights and tips guide, filled with recommendations designed to enhance both the day and the images we create together.
-
Do you work with a second photographer?
Yes. When it adds to the story, a second photographer is included—typically for around 6 hours of an 8-hour day. Their role is focused and intentional, complementing my lead without unnecessary overlap. They cover moments that benefit from dual coverage, like getting ready in separate locations or guest reactions during the ceremony, while I guide the overall vision. Their presence is selective, never intrusive, and always in service of a cohesive, editorial narrative.
-
What equipment do you use?
I photograph digitally using Canon R5 cameras paired with L-series prime lenses.
-
How long will it take to receive our photographs and how many final images will be delivered?
During peak season, final galleries are delivered within 8 weeks. I always share a handful of preview images within the first week. Each gallery receives dedicated editing, with around 30 hours spent in post-production. You can expect between 400–700 images, depending on specifics of your day.
-
Do you offer albums and prints?
Yes, I offer sleek, luxurious leather albums and archival-quality prints—crafted to preserve your memories simply and beautifully.
